Hong-Mei Li is running a marathon to raise $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Leukemia causes more deaths than any cancer affecting children under the age of 20. If she reaches her fundraising goal of $10,000 by June 3rd, she will donate all of her hair (20 inches) at the Crane Building in Northern Liberties, 1400 N. American Street (near 2nd & Girard---www.cranearts.com). Please come on Sunday, June 3rd, 4-7 pm to the Crane Arts Building for an evening of live music, games and prizes, and refreshments with your family, friends, and community to witness her dedication: “Bald for a Cure.”
Since its founding in 1949, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
