Two websites have recently been posted to make locating a 3D/4D ultrasound provider easier. 3dultrasounds.com and 4dultrasounds.com are now open to the public with hundreds of providers listed nationwide.

Domain owner and developer Ron Lovell has owned the sites since 2000 and 2003 respectively, but recently launched nationwide directories due to the rapidly increasing number of providers in the U.S. Users can locate their closest provider by state with easy to use flash maps or drop down boxes within two clicks. Providers that find themselves not listed on the directory can fill out a quick form and get posted free of charge. While basic listings are free, full color ads with a quick map link to the business are available for an annual fee.
Internet users have become increasingly wary of privacy issues. They can now visit the site and gain full access without giving their private information via 800 numbers or forms that often end up in the hands of marketers or worse.
