Yozzo Co., ltd (Bangkok, Thailand) today announced a new free mobile directory that will help users of the mobile web browser Opera Mini to find, share and submit useful sites and services on their mobile phone.
The Yozzo Mobile Directory www.yozzo.com/dir is based on user submitted sites that can be used on a mobile phone with Opera Mini mobile web browser. Most of the sites are very useful tools for people “on the move” like travelers. Submitted sites are tested on mobile phones first, before approval on the directory.
Mobile search has been growing in importance lately with major players like Google and Yahoo entering the mobile search market. But Yozzo has done it differently, instead of having to find out what to search for, they are letting users help users by providing results, tested and recommended by users.
The directory has several options, users can submit their sites, rate existing sites on the directory, send the links to friends, or suggest categories. You can also bookmark your favorite sites. An image of the site is available so you are able to see the site before visiting.
The Directory is available on the mobile phone – via Opera Mini and online on normal web browsers.
The project is done having the end-user in focus, not mobile 2.0 or any other fancy terms. It makes use of simple available internet technology combined with the popular mobile web browser Opera Mini.
