I'm Not The Hockey Player, Says Radio's Roy Gray

Hockey Player Roy Gray played for a number of teams, including the "Ottawa 67s," a rough and rowdy major junior team, and has received wide recognition for his tough style of play.

But people who don't follow hockey continue to wonder if Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray is a former hockey pro.

"No, that's not a sport I have ever had the pleasure of playing," said Gray, "But I am a 'Ducks' fan."

Gray eagerly rules out a few other Roy Grays.

"I am not the world famous war hero who happens to be my namesake. Nor am I the world-renowned author, although my university-attending son (and namesake) is a brilliant writer/artist/vocalist."

Gray is on a roll.

"Nor am I the incredibly bright financial adviser, although we all could use his advise.

"And, I'm not the Roy Gray that stole those pigs fifty years ago. But, like many Americans, I was happy officials agreed that this Roy Gray was a pillar of the community and they would let the seventy-plus-year-old be."
