Weve all heard the old jokes about wives complaining of headaches, and even some of the male gender, such as Napoleon, but its certainly no joke when one is afflicted with them on a daily basis. Migraines are definitely the most common type of headache. They affect over 10% of the global population. They usually start in childhood, and are most common in young and middle-aged adults. They can be so severe as to affect a persons normal routine for days at a time. Stress and anger can act as triggers for migraines, along with tension, which can be caused by insufficient sleep, anxiety, or worry.
Sinus problems can also cause bad headaches. The causes of sinusitus could be an allergy, a severe cold, enlarged parts inside the nose, or an acute infection. SOMETHING acts as a trigger for all those headaches!
To prevent them, I suppose, like me, that youve heard many ideas put forward--Do not read when lying down, the source of light must be behind your head, do not hold a book too near to your eyes, dont hold it too far away either! Eat plenty of carrots, as theyre rich in Vitamin A, never look at the sun directly, try to blink deliberately while working with the computer. All perfectly reasonable, I suppose.
