Georgia Career Institute's esthetics career program encompasses between 750* and 1,000* hours of study (750 hours in Tennessee; 1,000 hours of study in Georgia). Students enrolled in this program will learn professional ethics, spa and salon management, business practices, facials, clinic/salon/body treatments, makeup application, hair removal, and other advanced skin care treatments.
The 620-hour* nail technology course involves training and education in sanitation and disinfection, nail structure and composition, manicure/pedicure, removal and repair, sculptured nails, fill-ins, nail art, tips and overlays, advanced art techniques, among other related subjects of study. Qualified students need not worry about financial aid as Georgia Career Institute participates in a variety of financial assistance programs, including PELL grants, Stafford loans, parent loans and undergraduate student program, Veterans' benefits, and special financial arrangements through the school's financial aid office.
