Contemporary furniture store Accurato.com is pleased to announce the introduction of green furniture by Knoll Studio at www.accurato.us where customers can purchase furnishings certified by the Greenguard Environmental Institute. Lena Johnson, President, states that “As a commitment to sustainability, we are introducing products certified by Greenguard. This is the only guide to certified eco-friendly furniture and accessories that designers and consumers can utilize to create healthier homes and offices. We are pleased to offer these certified green furniture products by Knoll through our online website.” Accurato has added a number of green furniture products certified by Greenguard and manufactured by Knoll Studio such as the Asymmetric Chaise, Bertoia Barstool and Side Chair by Harry Bertoia and the Wassily Chair by Marcel Breuer.
Greenguard certification is recognized by LEED. Air Quality Science, an Independent indoor air quality laboratory, tests furniture and products submitted for Greenguard certification using stringent environmental chamber testing protocols and current indoor air quality standards. Green furniture (or eco furniture) certification is administered by the Greenguard Environmental Institute.
