The Writing Center Announces Plans to Hire 40+ Ivy League Students for Freelance Editing Work
The Writing Center, an internet-based admissions essay editing and consulting company located at www.the-writing-center.com, will recruit Ivy League students for part-time freelance editing positions.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) June 7, 2007 --
The Writing Center, which evolved from a personal freelance editing page created by founder Nathan Labenz, was organized in February, 2007 and serves a primarily Asian client base. Demand for the companys services has grown quickly thanks to best-in-market prices and positive word-of-mouth publicity generated by early customers in South Korea and Taiwan.
Mr. Labenz has indicated that he plans to hire 40 or more part-time editors as part of a plan to expand into the Japanese, Chinese, Indian, and the American markets in the coming months. While it is often difficult to attract students to part-time work, The Writing Center plans to overcome this obstacle by offering unusually high wages an average of $30/hour and by creating a web-based user interface that allows editors to specify the days on which they are available to work. Application materials can be downloaded at www.the-writing-center.com/application.htm and will be due by on Sunday, June 17.
