iPod is the reigning king of MP3 players in both features and popularity.
For_Immediate_Release:

June 12, 2007 (Press Release) -- The unit’s groundbreaking design and eye-popping capacity (the 5th generation iPod comes in 30GB and 80GB versions) have made this gadget a runaway success with music lovers. The 80GB model holds a whopping 20,000 songs—at four minutes per song, you could listen for eight weeks straight without hearing a repeat. You even have space to back up important files from your computer.

It has never been easier to organize and navigate your music. iPod includes the latest version of iTunes for Windows and Mac, which lets you create playlists to suit your mood or the occasion. When you add new songs or change your playlists, the music will automatically update on your iPod the next time you connect it to your computer via the auto-sync feature.

The coolest feature of the 5th generation iPod is on an entirely different level. The newest version to hit the streets has video capability and is 60% brighter! Watch your favorite movies and television shows on an expanded 2.5-inch screen in over 65,000 colors. It holds up to 100 hours of video and can play anything in H.264 or MPEG-4 format. With the ability to download programs through the iTunes music service the very next day, you guarantee that you never miss your favorite show again. You can even download games.

Ipod Nano
Take what you know about iPod and shrink it. Now shrink it again and you’ve got the iPod nano. The newest member of the Apple family is 62% smaller than mini and 80% smaller than the original iPod, yet still supports eye-popping color and photo capabilities. The 8GB version holds up to 2,000 songs, and the 4GB version is available in four new colors.

Though it may be small, iPod nano packs a huge punch. At only 1.5 ounces, it holds up to six days’ worth of music, and plays for up to 14 hours between battery charges. The color display shows album art for the song you’re listening to, carries photos, podcasts and audiobooks, and syncs seamlessly with iTunes.

iPod has never been more functional, either. You’ll never miss an appointment again thanks to the calendar function, and your contacts are stored for easy access. The to-do list reminds you to grab bread and milk on the way home, games keep you occupied while standing in line, and the world clock lets you know what time it is no matter where you are. The nano connects to a host of iPod accessories, and since it supports the same type of connecting pin as iPod and iPod mini, your favorite extras are still compatible. Simply put, iPod nano is 100-percent iPod, and beyond.

iPod shuffle
Less than 2" long and weighing only half an ounce, the iPod shuffle has a built-in clip, making it the most portable iPod yet. The 1GB flash drive holds 240 of your favorite songs. The iPod shuffle is skip-free and offers up to 12 hours of playback, so you'll have all your favorite music wherever you go.

Adding songs is easy—just plug your iPod shuffle into the USB port on the Dock connector and autofill from your favorite playlist, or drag and drop specific must-have songs. With the new one-click wheel, you can listen to your tunes in the order you loaded them, or mix things up with shuffle mode. The circular control pad also lets you pause, skip or repeat a track, so you are always in control of your music.

iPod songs and accessories
Need some fresh songs? The iTunes Music Store is your gateway to a world of music. You can preview, buy and download music online, so your must-have song is only a click away.

How will you listen to your iPod? The included earbuds are great, but to share your music, consider a wireless FM transmitter, a cassette adapter or travel speakers. A docking station with speakers lets you charge your player and spin tunes in one easy step. The iPod mini can use many of the same accessories as the iPod, so you can mix and match to meet your needs.
