Set in the heart of Brooklyn, Marcus (Darius McCrary) is the first member in his family to attend medical school and has it all, good looks, a promising career and an over protective mother (Thelma Hopkins) that will stop at nothing to rescue her son from his new, estranged girlfriend Trina (Lisa D Amato). Rumors start to fly when Trina announces she’s with child and demands that the young doctor do the right thing, but when Michelle (Letoya Luckett) a childhood sweetheart from his past comes back to their hometown, the right thing maybe the last thing the young doctor has prescribed for himself. The story unfolds when Marcus' best friend Keith learns Marcus is not the father. Keith must now find a remedy of his own, betray Trina the only woman he ever loved or conceal the truth from his best friend Marcus.
