PRINCETON, NJ (June 6, 2007) The seventh annual Emerging Information and
Technology Conference (EITC'07), featuring Nano-Technology, SoC (Systems-on-Chip), BiSB
(Bioinformatics and Systems Biology), C4I (Content, Computer, Communications,
Consumer Electronics, and Integration), Emerging Energy Technology, and AABF
(Asian American Business Forum) will be held at Princeton University on
Thursday – Friday, August 9 - 10, 2007.
The Emerging Information and Technology Conference (EITC) is held once a year to
facilitate information exchange among professionals from Asia and North America on emerging
technologies and services. The objectives of the annual conference are: 1) to strengthen the technical and business ties between the Asian and North American universities, R&D institutions, and industries; 2) to bring together experts and industry leaders to share technological advancements and business experiences; and 3) to jointly explore opportunities in emerging technologies and services.
Professor Li-Shiuan Peh, from Princeton University and Professor Eric Y. Chuang
from National Taiwan University will be the co-chairs of EITC 2007. Professor Chuang emphasized that the main theme for EITC 2007 will be “Technologies for a Healthier Future” and said, “ Experts from different disciplines including Nano, SoC, C4I, System biology-bioinformatics, energy, and business will be discussing how to connect different technologies that will bring us a healthier society tomorrow.”
