June 13, 2007 (Press Release) --
Handicappers are becoming a dime a dozen in North America. Several amateur posers have opened websites and charged clients for their sports picks. This is possible because there is no governing body or no qualifications to become a sports handicapper. This has greatly watered down the handicapping industry and has given it a “black eye”.
Mike Davis and Jim Kruger are determined to bring back honor and integrity to the handicapping business. Their new website (http://www.livecappers.com) is one of the tools they intend on using to do just that. They have worked hard on the new site and they expect it to be 100% complete by September 2007. Live Cappers will be the first handicapping website of its kind. The big difference between this website and sites that Mike and Jim have worked for in the past is the availability of the handicappers during the games. That’s right! Mike and Jim will be available for comments, analysis, in-game wagering, and second half wagers. All of the details haven’t been worked out completely but the sports client will have full access to the handicapper of his/her choice for the entire game. This will give the client a chance to get to know the handicappers as well as understand how these guys continue to make money season after season.
“We believe the handicapping industry is on the downward spiral due to the rift raft that has drifted into our industry. Jim and I have always been accessible to our clients and we believe that is the only way to do things. We decided to begin this new site with the anticipation of lifting the whole industry out of the basement. We are excited about this endeavor and we expect the response to be 100% positive. Our clients have known for years the way Jim and I do business. With the opening of Live Cappers, we hope to share that experience with everyone.” -- Mike Davis
