CA today announced the latest release of its CA ERwin Data Modeler (DM)-the first data modeling tool to be integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Database Professionals. CA ERwin DM r7.2 is a key component of CA ERwin Modeling Suite—an integrated set of technologies that enables best practices for relational database design and modeling.
As Microsoft SQL Server has emerged as a leading enterprise-class database platform, it has given rise to a new generation of database professionals who need enterprise-class database design and management tools. CA ERwin Modeling Suite r7.2 uniquely facilitates a managed, model-based approach for business analysis and requirements gathering, as well as the design and implementation of high quality database and data warehouse applications. It also enables database professionals using SQL Server to visually design and generate managed objects for use in the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment.
