The Taj Mahal which symbolizes the love of an Emperor for his Empress is one of the most popular monuments of the world. People from all over the world visit Taj Mahal atleast once. As it has been nominated for the new 7 wonders of the world, it needs your votes to be one of them. Won’t you feel proud when you see that the pride of our COUNTRY will become the pride of this world??Taj Mahal is very far behind amongst the other nominees. It needs YOU to come forward amongst the nominees.
The problem for getting the Taj on the list on the new wonders of the world is that though India has the numbers, internet penetration and awareness about the ongoing campaign are rather low. When the list of 21 was drawn, Taj Mahal ranked the 20th. It received only 1.6 per cent of the total votes.
India is trying its best to spread the news about the new 7 wonders- AR.Rahman has composed an anthem which encourages Indians to vote for the Taj, many advertisements starring famous actors are also being telecasted on all the leading channels, banners are put up, announcements are made , stage programs and plays are conducted etc.
Now the time is very less. The new list will be announced at a ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 7.Vote before it’s too late!!!
