June 25, 2007 (Press Release) --
Michael Bloomberg is hardly considered a libertarian. Other potential third party candidates, such as Ralph Nader, do not necessarily share libertarian principles of smaller government, and lower taxes.
Recently, Imperato has been seen with former US Congressman Bob Barr. They have been seen at several Libertarian Party events talking side by side.
When interviewed by i1connect, Imperato stated that Barr "could do the job" of being the next Vice President of the United States of America.
Barr is an attorney and represented Georgia's 7th District from 1995-2003. Barr is now a Life Member and on the National Committee of the United States Libertarian Party.
In the 2004 Presidential election, Barr abandoned the Republican Party, and publicly endorsed the presidential ticket of the United States Libertarian Party, Michael Badnarik and Richard Campagna.
However, Barr remains most notable as being one of the United States House of Representatives Managers that led the charge for the impeachment of Bill Clinton.
More recently, Barr has been rallying Libertarians all over the Southeast Region of the Libertarian Party.
Imperato has called for a 33 million man and woman e-march, and has been traveling across the country speaking to the existing Libertarian base and recruiting new members.
However, together the two have done an effective job in helping boost the Libertarian Party.
This dynamic duo could be a potential President and Vice Presidential ticket for 2008, not only for the Libertarian Party, but for the United States of America .
