About the Author
Lillie Knox Mazyck lives in Ladson, South Carolina with her husband, Larry. She has one daughter (Kris) and two sons (Desmond and Roderick) She has one sister and six brothers. The author can't remember when she started writing, but it must have been as soon as she realized she had something important to say. Mrs. Mazyck has been teaching for eighteen years, and has wanted to write books for children to help them become better citizens in society. She started writing for children when she finished her Master of Education in Early Childhood Education at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
