June 27, 2007 (Press Release) --
Los Angeles
--"You know what I think?" said Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray, "The main barometers for any broadcast are how many people are tuning in, and how often," declared Gray, adding, "Plus, you've gotta look at the quantity and bottom-line value of the advertising your show is generating for yourself and for the station(s) that air your program."
In the very near future there will be a news release from the Roy Gray camp about which radio station the popular weekender has chosen as his new on-air home.
Until then, jazz fans get to find Gray themselves.
The first ten people that successfully track Gray down and email him about their success, will get to play guest DJs from any city on the new jazz show.
"I already know that some industry insiders have full knowledge of my radio whereabouts," said the host who has made "come here" a household phrase.
"I'm not doing this promotion for the elite people, although I value their loyal support of my work," Gray said, "This whole thing is for the jazz-lovin' public!"
Gray breaks it down.
"The first thing I want people to learn about my relatively rapid return to live radio is when you rely on faith, you rely on power.
"And you know what?" continued Gray, "this is all about personal improvement, taking responsibility for the free-will choices you, yourself made that led to your face fall, as well as those amazing achievements that lead to your rejoicing."
The news release formally announcing Gray's return to the live mike is scheduled for Saturday August 25, at the quirky announcer's summer picnic.
"Yea, I'll still have the picnic," Gray confirmed, "only the name will be changed from 'The Fired Picnic' to 'The Hired Picnic.'"
Gray would like to thank News.Google.Com, News.Yahoo.com, the following sites and more for embracing the news stories, most of which may still be online, that have catapulted his weekend voice-over career (if can't click on site, copy and paste to browser):
