Dueling Piano Bars Make Their First Appearance in NYC in the Heart of the Theater District- Modeled After Successful Ventures in Major Cities Across America.

June 28, 2007: HA! Comedy Club located on West 46th Street opens New York’s first Dueling Piano Bar in the heart of Times Square. Dueling Piano Bars have made their success across America with locations in every major city except the Big Apple until Sweet Caroline’s Dueling Piano Bar opened its doors in April of 2007. The Bar at Times Square, a popular Las Vegas Dueling Piano bar within the New York, New York Hotel has even modeled itself around a New York City based theme. Until now, New Yorkers haven’t been able to experience this craze that has driven multiple national successful franchises opening dueling piano bars across the country.
Howl at the Moon, a popular franchise has found success with locations in Hollywood, Chicago, Houston, Orlando, Tampa, Kansas City, Cleveland, Charlotte, and Indianapolis. Performances are interactive, involving two or more piano players with extensive musical knowledge. The shows style themselves as a karaoke “clambake” where the audience sing their heart out to popular songs and musical anthems while talented musicians bang them out on the piano and drums. The show is custom tailored to the audience as guests request their favorite songs spanning all genres and lends itself perfectly to celebrations of all times including birthdays and bachelorette parties.
