The Bahamas Consul General New York is hosting a prolific event called the Bahamian American Arts Festival. This August 24, 2007, from 4pm to 9pm talented Bahamians will perform, display work, etc.

New York, NY. June 29, 2007. Talented artists and entrepreneurs of Bahamian and Caribbean ancestry are showcasing their works and talent at a special event being held near the United Nations on August 24, 2007, 4pm to 9pm.
The Bahamian American Arts Festival is being hosted by the Bahamas Consulate General New York, under the distinguished patronage of the Bahamian Consul General, Mr. Eldred Bethel, and special invited guests including dignitaries, independent movie producers, writers, clothing designers, performers, entrepreneurs, etc. In addition to participants receiving some media coverage, outstanding performers and creators will receive a special certificate at the end of the event.
