Sopogy Inc., a local renewable energy company, has received state approval to issue $10 million in special revenue bonds to build a solar farm planned for the Natural Energy Laboratories.

Honolulu, HI - Sopogy, Inc. announced today it had received Governor Linda Lingle’s approval for the issuance of special purpose revenues bonds to assist Sopogy Inc., in the development of renewable energy. The bill language authorizes $10,000,000 in special purpose revenue bonds to assist Sopogy Inc., with planning, designing, constructing, equippind and operating a solar farm power plant at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority or another suitable site in Hawaii.
