July 1, 2007 (Press Release) --
It seems every man (and his dog) has a blog these days. With instant publishing technology becoming easier and easier, anyone who has anything to say is jumping on board the blogging bandwagon. Now, though, blogging has reached a new level with possibly the world’s first blogging teddy bear.
Pemberthy Bear, star of a children’s picture book of the same name, has started his own blog on the Blogger network. Having mastered the art of typing with paws (not an easy accomplishment), Pemberthy is sharing his wisdom, his wit and his whimsy with anyone who cares to listen.
From deep ponderings about the meaning of life to words for the day and random comments, Pemberthy has something to say to everyone. He has even turned his talents to writing poetry.
Pemberthy’s biographer, children’s author Sally Murphy, is proud of her furry friend’s newfound talents. “When Pemberthy told me he was starting a blog, I was a little concerned. As his official biographer I was concerned that his newfound writing skills might make my own redundant. But now that I’ve seen what he can do, I’m over my issues and really very proud. And, just to keep up with him, I’ve started a blog of my own.”
