July 5, 2007 (Press Release) --
Walnut, CA July 5, 2007— American AMP, an advertising, marketing and promotions company in the US, has announced that they will be giving college radio promotion at half their normal price for all independent artists in the US and Canada. This includes signed and unsigned artists. American AMP, an up-and-coming company, played a major role in the success of such movie blockbusters as Disney/Walden Media’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, and Universal’s United 93. In the music industry, American AMP has been responsible for promoting and marketing hundreds of major and independent label recording artists from various genres, including three Bob Marley CD’s and three Marley box-sets for JAD Records International.
American AMP president Rudy Chavarria Jr came up with the idea after having a discussion with some local bands out of Orange County, CA that have great music, but do not have the cash to promote their music. “To many times I come across bands that have brilliant CD’s that can not afford to pay for promotion because they have used all their finance on recording” commented Chavarria. “This way, bands can at least get some promotion and feedback from the radio station on their CD.” added Chavarria.
The promotion will be open to artists that have a completely packaged full length CD to be distributed to college and public radio stations throughout the US. The promotion will be for 8 weeks and a total of 300 radio station will be serviced for the price of $1150. This offer is available from July 9 thru August 31 2007. After that, the price will resume back to usual.
American AMP offers a variety of services including consulting, website design, graphic design, legal consulting, copyright research, critical review of rough mixes, and much more.
