HOGSAUCE wins First Place at the NBBQ

July 6, 2007 (Press Release) -- The National BBQ Association holds annual awards of excellance for the entire BBQ industry. Held at its annual convention, all of the BBQ sauces submitted are passed through a blind test. The hand selected judges taste the sauces with out the benefit of a label. They rate the sauces based on taste and appearance. Golden Hog Gourmet BBQ Sauce won first place in the mustard category.

BBQ Brothers is a full service professional on-site catering company located in Montclair, VA. BBQ Brothers has been serving its sauces to their premier clients for years. Recently, BBQ Brothers decided to bottle its sauces. Head Chef, Bill Siewert created the Golden Hog Gourmet Sauce after a trip to New Orleans. After experiencing the creole flavors, Bill was inspired to make a BBQ sauce. First he takes a sweet tomato based BBQ sauce, adds creole mustard, then a Chardonay wine. The mixture is then simmered for over six hours. This creates a flavor like no other.

Bill reccomends using his sauce on: pork, chicken, beef, sausage & hot dogs. He even has recipies to make the sauce a marinade, salad dressing or even a dipping sauce with pretzels!
