July 6, 2007 (Press Release) --
Carmel Valley, CA. A retired construction executive, regional filmmaker and published author has released a book in CD format charging the United States support of Israel’s wrongful behavior over the past six decades is the root cause of anti-American terrorism.
“This is not just another Jew-bashing book by a white supremacist skin-headed neo Nazi.” said Hale during an interview at his Carmel Valley home.
“I’m a normal American guy who was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, den chief, god-loving Christian who attended five years of college and served two years in the US Army. I got married, got out, raised seven children and spent the next 30 years of my life working for a construction company. I paid my taxes, made my charitable contributions, don’t do drugs, was never arrested and consider myself to be a regular patriotic American citizen.”
I asked him, “Knowing the United States has supported Israel in its takeover of the Palestinian Territories and knowing the United States is a friend to Israel and supports it militarily and financially, what prompted you to write a book challenging the United State’s foreign policy in the Middle East?”
“9/11 changed my life.” Hale said. “I was enjoying retirement and following my life-long dream of making a feature-length action comedy for children when the planes slammed through the towers that morning. I simply couldn’t believe there were people in the world who hated us so very much that they would do such a horrible thing to all those innocent people. I had to find out who they were and why they did it.”
“Having two sons at the time who I thought might get called up in a fight against whoever our enemy might be, I dropped everything and began searching for the answer to those questions. After a year of research I found the ugly eye-popping answer right in my own backyard.”
Hale’s book “True or False: Israel Is The Root Cause Of Anti American Terrorism” offers names, dates, places and activities supporting the assertion Great Britain and the USA were wrong in engineering and facilitating the Zionist takeover of Sunni Palestinian land. These asserted facts have all been methodically assembled, corroborated, and presented for a reader’s scrutiny and consideration.
“All I ask is that each person consider the information presented and make a personal decision as to whether or not my assertion is true or false.”
Alan Dershowitz is a criminal law professor at Harvard Law School and a high profile American political figure known for his commentary on the Arab-Israeli conflict. He supports Zionism and the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and maintains a website in which he invites interaction and discussion. According to Hale he sent Dershowitz an invitation to review his book’s website at . Hale’s website reveals the essence of his assertion and a lot more about his book. Dershowitz was asked to suggest any words or phrases in Hale’s website or book that were not true. After several days, Hale received notice back from the Dershowitz website that there would be no comment on either Hale’s website or his book.
“I never thought it was going to be that easy to put a cork in Mr. Dershowitz’s mouth.” said Hale. “But I suppose there was really nothing else he could do other than shoo me away like a bothersome gadfly. You can’t argue against truth.”
According to Hale, supporting Zionism had cost the United States of America over three trillion dollars as of 2002. That's over $10,000 per man, woman and child in our country. It had cost the world between six and twelve trillion dollars if you count all the increases in oil prices most everyone suffered as an indirect result of defending and supporting Israel. Count the number of people in your family and multiply by $10,000 to see how much your family has already contributed to Israel's existence as of 2002. It is estimated the war in Iraq, to make the Middle East a safer neighborhood for Israel, is in itself approaching another three trillion dollars.
“My book defines the one problem that needs to be solved in order to achieve permanent peace in the Middle East.” said Hale. “Israel needs to voluntarily take down its flag and join with Palestinians in creating a new nation that could be called ABRAHAM; a Nation of Brothers named in honor of their common ancestral father.”
Hale believes Jews who don't want to live in peace with the Palestinians and Christians can come to America where the freedom bell has been ringing for them for over 230 years.
“In kindergarten we learned to say we were sorry when we did something wrong. It's time the United States acknowledges and publicly admits it was wrong in supporting the Zionist takeover of Sunni Palestinian territory. It's time the US said it was sorry for the mistakes it made when it pledged its financial strength and military might to help create an ethno-nationalistic Jewish state on Sunni Islamic Palestinian ground.”
Hale sees this as the essence of the conflict in the Middle East right now. He believes it is the seed, the heart and the root cause of worldwide Islamic discontent and terrorism.
In his book Hale cites how the British gave up their attempts to help create a safe haven for Jews in 1948 when immigrating Jews and Zionist leaders themselves began shooting at English soldiers. He says Great Britain wisely threw up its hands and abandoned all its efforts to take land away from the Muslims and give it to the Jews. He asserts it’s now time for the United States to do the same thing.
“It simply isn't right. Israel exists on stolen land.” said Hale. “There was never any god-given gift and there can be no peace until that land is peacefully returned to its rightful owners.”
Those unfamiliar with the history of the Middle East will appreciate Hale’s quick look at the relevant historical facts in chronological order. Copies of original documents display facts first hand so readers can make up their own minds on whether Israel is currently worthy of continued US military support and financial aid.
