July 10, 2007 (Press Release) --
Sunburst Projects, one of 46 agencies receiving support from the Crowley Children’s Fund, operates Stephen’s Place, a safe place providing comprehensive family support that helps to educate, strengthen and empower children, teens and their families living with HIV/AIDS. A year ago, Sunburst launched an innovative program for teens. The first generation of infected children born with the virus has reached adolescence. This support group meets monthly to promote education and prevention and to explore career and educational goals. This group is continuing to expand and provide needed services.
Starburst Projects is putting on this one-day event as a way to help women explore new ways to stay healthy and stay beautiful longer in a setting where they can meet with practitioners, learn about their services, and actually experience mini-treatments. Stephen’s Place will receive 100% of the funds received from the event.

“This is a wonderful and very unique opportunity that Sunburst Projects is bringing to the community”, commented Transformational Healing’s Diane Hovey. “It is a very rare thing to have such a wide variety of health and wellness disciplines all brought together in one place where people can try out those that interest them.” Along with scheduled presentations, attendees will be able to schedule one on one sessions with participating healers and consultants.
The event is open to the public, and attendees are advised to bring their gym clothes, swimsuit, towel & sunscreen and be ready to have a fabulous time. “This is a day of balance with play, good food, and healing”, said Venice Sullivan, a medical intuitive featured at the event.
Interested parties are encouraged to contact Cynthia Cassano by July 9th. The minimum donation is $25 per guest. The event will run from 10:00am to 5:00 pm July 14th in El Dorado Hills, California.
