Elib.com contains sites of which the primary focus is to allow the consumer to select and obtain quality goods and services from all over the Web.
The Directory is organizing sites by category and location all around the world.
The listings are divided into 3 different categories, with different positions within the same category.

Elib.org was founded in the year 2003 by Im Evolution, an Italian Internet Company, with the aim of providing a one stop resource for people wishing to buy things or services on the Web.
At the very beginning editors searched the Internet for sites with original quality content, their reliability, according to web-standards, was also considered as a basic criterion to allow listing. After a while, owners of websites started to show interest at being listed on elib.org. So elib.org become reliable, well-known and visited.
Elib.org offers mainly commercial listings, but the editors do take into consideration consumer information, so they have allowed dedicated spaces for this purpose.

The consumer can find non-commercial sites in dedicated categories or browse elib’s articles section, where the editors offer some hints related to general subjects regarding shopping online or related to the features of a particular item, which can be of interest to the buyer or the reader.
Elib’s Editors are continuously searching the web to find new and valuable websites to list, but owners can apply by paying a submission fee.
The submission fee is mainly for evaluation. In fact the editors still seriously review each site as if it is the first and most important one.
The editors select sites based on their (good) content, their reliability and their pertinence to the main directory’s aim: their relation to shopping issues.


PAID INCLUSION AND ADVERTISING

The listings are organized by location, by category and by priority position within the same category and within the same subcategory they are mixed every month to ensure the same visibility to every subscriber.
It is possible to choose among 3 different kinds of submission:
The Basic Submission with a minimum one-off fee is to be evaluated and eventually listed in the category and location chosen, among basic subscribers. Basic subscribers are entitled to more information to be shown on a dedicated page.

The Express Submission is a one-off payment which primarily ensures the website will be listed among Express subscribers (previously shown to basic subscribers) and that the application will be reviewed within 2 business days. It also entitles the subscriber to a dedicated page and to an extra (internal) link.
The Sponsored Submission requires an annual fee to be paid every year for renewal. This submission ensures the most visible position: sponsored subscribers appear at the beginning of their category, ahead of express and basic subscribers. The website will be reviewed within 48 hours and this submission is entitled to a dedicated page and to 5 extra (internal) links.
