July 12, 2007 (Press Release) --
PALM CITY, FL, April 2, 2007 –
Instead of a single static message printed on paper, or words on a letter board, the Brightboard™ uses a bright, colorful LCD display to deliver a looped series of high resolution screens. These screens can contain words, full color pictures and even full motion video. The Brightboard can be stationed at your entrance to direct people as well as in your waiting area featuring your various offerings and services.
Available in a floor-standing portable pedestal configurations (approximately 5 feet tall) or permanent wall mount configurations, the Brightboard™ is designed to be installed in minutes by a non-technical person. According to the manufacturer, the Brightboard™ represents a breakthrough in digital signage because it is affordable, portable and can be quickly and easily updated by the sign owner.
Adding or changing content on the Brightboard™ is quick and simple according to the company. Image and video files for the Brightboard™ are stored on inexpensive, readily available flash memory cards. To place content on the memory card for display, users simply connect the supplied USB memory card drive (about the size of a deck of cards) to any computer and drag-and-drop files to the memory card. The memory card is then placed back inside the Brightboard™, to display the images and videos. No custom software is required. The Brightboard™ recognizes JPEG (image) and MPEG (video) file formats that are supported by virtually all image software programs and digital cameras.
The Brightboard™ standalone systems do not require a computer or network connection for operation. At the heart of the Brightboard™ system is a solid-state custom graphics/media player which is compact, silent and has no moving parts. This allows the Brightboard™ to maintain its slim profile while eliminating the maintenance and complexity issues associated with computer hardware, software, networks and operating systems. Images can be created on any computer with standard image software such as Paint or PowerPoint.
For customers requiring network accessibility, the company now offers network enabled systems. These systems offer all the advantages of our standalone Digital Sign technology, with the ability to add/remove/delete and change the content of your digital sign over your existing network. Our “Basic” network model requires no additional software to be installed and utilizes your web browser for access. Our “Advanced” network model requires our software to be installed on a dedicated PC but allows extra features such as different media zones, scrolling text, scheduling, true widescreen output and more.
The Brightboard™ Digital Display System is available for immediate delivery at a suggested end user price of $1,695 (for 19” systems) and up. For volume pricing, ordering or related information, contact Mitchell Sitcov, POP AdVisions Inc. at (772) 221-0537 or visit our website www.popadvisions.com
