MetricStream announced that Aurobindo Pharma (National Stock Exchange: AUROPHARMA) has selected the MetricStream solution to automate its compliance processes for meeting FDA cGMP regulations.

Aurobindo Pharma will deploy MetricStream solution suite managing auditing, product and process related non-conformances, issue investigations and reporting, change control, complaints handling, controlled documents and for developing and executing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans. Automation of these key business processes on an integrated compliance platform will enable Aurobindo Pharma to improve operational efficiencies, lower the cost of regulatory compliance and create a transparent environment for proactively identifying, tracking and resolving quality issues. The system will be compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for electronic records and information systems.
Aurobindo Pharma is among the top five pharmaceutical companies in India manufacturing generic pharmaceuticals and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for the global markets. The company has 11 manufacturing plants conforming to cGMP guidelines and ISO regulations and has received 35 product approvals from the US FDA.
