They say there are several things in life that test us, marriage, children, moving house, Christmas and divorce, but often potty training comes very close to being added to the list. Trying to persuade a small person to stop wetting and soiling whenever they need to and start doing it in a specified place each time is hard work.
The average 2 year old is probably ready to start potty training but they are also very busy little people learning new things every day, they probably have just started toddler group and discovering fun new things to do, painting, singing and making lots of new friends, so learning to wee in one place is so very frustrating especially if you are enjoying yourself.
Potty people was started to put all the information and products in one place, we already help parents chose which cloth nappy’s to use, so of course the natural course of events is to move on to proper pants. We have potty trained 8 of our own, and we understand the frustration this period can bring, the tears, the tantrums, the screaming and that’s just us the adults!
