July 17, 2007 (Press Release) --
One Hand Loves the Other is fresh off a successful east coast tour, and label mates Strezo will be following suit later this year. The Earl show appears as a mini Stickfigure showcase.
Atlantas music scene is captivating with a style all its own says Robert Filippo, guitarist for Strezo. For this reason we want our live show as a fixture of the Atlanta music scene. Atlanta has been rapidly gaining national exposure and top venues like The Earl help to increase the city’s visibility, yet help keep the scene grounded and welcoming. Labels such as Stickfigure also draw these parallels, signing bands that are set to break regionally and nationally, yet have roots in experimental music.
Creative Loafing has described Strezo as Tim Burton esque dark pop that blends spooky and oddball sounds with gypsy rhythms and the Chicago Daily Southtown describes the music as haunting and original.
