July 17, 2007 (Press Release) --
A new Monday flight departure from Sky Europe’s Stansted to Poprad service will give visitors to Slovakia’s `AquaCity Resort’ (www.aquacityresort.com) a choice of three departures per week and starts on 26th March 2007. The scheduled flight service will enable weekend stays and visits of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 nights to AquaCity, claimed to be the world’s most environmentally friendly resort, using geothermal water to provide a third of its electricity supply and heating for the two hotels, conference centre, spa and sauna centre and 9 swimming pools.
AquaCity is also one of the world’s first resorts to offer its guests Cryotherapy (www.aquacityresort.com/cryotherapy.aspx), a cutting edge spa treatment that includes up to 3 minutes in a small room chilled to minus 120 degrees C, followed by vigorous exercise. Cryotherapy is claimed to improve a multitude of medical conditions, alleviate stress and depression and improve hair, skin and cellulite.
Already attracting an increasing number of British visitors to its outstanding geothermal water parks, spa and sauna centre, AquaCity is currently undergoing programme of investment which will include a new Eden Project style Dome, built by the same architect, a new bowling centre, new Tropical Beach water world and the construction of a total of 34 swimming pools.
