July 18, 2007 (Press Release) --
Handy Recovery can search for files by name or mask and show the probability of successful recovery for each file. Recovered files can be saved to any disks accessible on your system.
Handy Recovery is able to recover alternate data streams which are used on NTFS file system to store additional information about files.
To create an image of a drive or partition select it in the top left corner of the main program window and choose "File | Save disk image..." on the menu. The image will be saved to a file. Note that you cannot save this file to the same disk.
You can open this file with the "File | Open disk image..." command at any time in the future. You can work with such image the same way you work with a drive.
