[Charleston, SC – July, 2007] – On July 23rd, the first of the Democratic debates for the 2008 Presidential election will take place in Charleston, South Carolina on The Citadel campus. The debate will air from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 23 on CNN. The following presidential candidates are expected to attend: U.S. Sens. Joe Biden of Delaware, Hillary Clinton of New York, Chris Dodd of Connecticut and Barack Obama of Illinois; Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich; New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former Sens. John Edwards of North Carolina and Mike Gravel of Alaska.
