Not all freelance writers and even webmasters know the truth behind these paid directories. Too many times, writers are gullible and write for peanuts for directory owners when they turn around and charge high prices to those wishing to be included in their directory with deep links.
“The Quick Buck Crew are a gang of shady webmasters who will do anything to make a quick buck, they have no morals and they would probably steel from their own mothers.” The owner of Ask-dir.com, redpines.org, and diablodirectory.com (adult directory) is the owner of the Quick Buck Crew website. He should include himself in his directory, as he is ripping of writers and clients alike.
As you look over these examples of how he is ripping off those that submit their website and writers remember, he only pays writers $5 per article. He pays the same no matter how many links are placed in the article. The webmasters could pay the writer $5, save quite a bit of money, and submit the article to article directories, which would give them more prominent backlinks.
