SAN FRANCISCO – July 23, 2007 – HandHeld Entertainment™ (NASDAQ: ZVUE), a global digital entertainment company, today announced that its library of user-generated content has grown more than 70 percent during the four-month period from mid-March 2007 through mid-July 2007.
Since beginning its quest in late 2006 to become one of the world’s largest providers of online videos and other forms of user-generated and premium content, HandHeld has acquired six Web sites and folded them into the ZVUE Entertainment Network™.
HandHeld’s ZVUE Entertainment Network of Web sites now hosts more than 850,000 user-generated videos, up from more than 500,000 user-generated (UG) videos as of March 13, 2007. In addition, these Web properties (Putfile.com™, UnOriginal.co.uk™, Holylemon.com™, YourDailyMedia.com™, FunMansion.com™, Dorks.com™ and ZVUE.com™) currently house more than 2.5 million user-submitted photos and other forms of media, including user-generated games.
HandHeld’s ZVUE Entertainment Network of Web sites currently attract between 15 million and 10 million unique visitors each month (up from 50,000 unique visitors in October 2006). Additionally, the company is on track to serve nearly one billion page views/video streams in 2007 under its ad-supported business model, further testament to HandHeld’s success in transforming itself into a leader in the online entertainment market.
