“Fear of Clowns 2” , the sequel to the Lionsgate Film released last year, will premiere on August 16, 2007 at 7:30pm at the historic Senator Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland.

“Fear of Clowns 2” , the sequel to the Lionsgate Film released last year, will premiere on August 16, 2007 at 7:30pm at the historic Senator Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland. In “Fear of Clowns 2” the homicidal “Shivers the Clown”(Mark Lassise) escapes from an institution and resumes his obsessed hunt for Lynn Blodgett(Jacky Reres), this time with two homicidal friends. But Detective Peters(Frank Lama), the man who stopped him in the first film, is also back, and this time he’s more interested in putting Shivers in the ground than behind bars.
Like the first film, “Fear of Clowns 2” was shot entirely in Maryland(Annapolis/Easton/Severna Park), and is the third feature from Maryland filmaker Kevin Kangas, writer/director of the award-winning “Hunting Humans”.
Besides the returning actors, the film also stars Baltimore-favorite Johnny Alonso(“Dawson’s Creek”, “One Tree Hill”), cage-fighter-turned-actor Tom Proctor(“Halloween 6”, “Independence Day”), and WCW Wrestler Clarence McNatt. The film was produced by Rob Stull, Robert Ziegler, and Luke Theriault, and was shot by Los Angeles-based cinematographer David Mun.
