Leads, leads, leads……… Leads are a hot market these days. People involved in ‘gifting’ schemes; MLMers; any business planning a mail campaign (snail mail or e-mail), (brick and mortar or online) – all are buying leads in one form or another. And usually it involves lists of varying degrees of “pre-qualified”, “pre-screened”, “regular buyers”, etc. At least, that’s what the leads buyers are told.
And the rule of thumb is that “you get what you pay for”. The MLM companies and the gifting gurus are telling everyone to buy the best they can afford – they’ll have better results. Of course, companies selling leads love this! Buy the most expensive ones, of course! Well………
