De Ann lives in the Midwest where she has done child care for over twenty-six years. One of her greatest loves as she grew up was to be surrounded by children. She achieved her dream and thanks to the children in her care she has managed to stay young and live a very rewarding life. De Ann loves to spend her off hours writing and being with her children and grandchildren.
Samantha Gianulis, new column, Apron Strings offer recipes, cooking and life tips. Her first column looks at the impact of cooking on relationships and offers a delicious Seared Ahi Tuna recipe.

She worked in the Catering and Special Events industry for seven years before becoming a stay at home, now a work at home, Mom. She appeared on NBC's ivillage Live
