Building a business entirely on Automated Lead Generation is a claim seen frequently on the internet, but does it really work.

Karen Caffrey, Lead Generation Specialist, states: “Recently, I listened to a successful internet marketer on a training call. He was enthusiastically encouraging his downline to do masses of advertising in order to funnel leads into the automated lead generation system he had created for his team. He said, when they did this, the system would sell the program for them. Then he proceeded to tell his downline how busy he had been on the phone selling the program to his leads. His system wasn’t always completing the sale for him, some leads required connection before completing the sale.”

Automation in lead generation and sale closing has made business online much easier for both small and large businesses. Many people do still like to feel connected to the person they are doing business with. While sales do occur without personal connection, more sales are made when some connection has been.

The use of audio files and video files now makes it possible to add a more personal touch to emails and websites. They are still geared to a mass audience, but if done well, can make the website or email more personal.
