Ameriplan offers new Prescription Advocacy Program for those who qualify
Ameriplan offers new Prescription Advocacy Program for those who qualify
Little known application process helps people get prescriptions for free from pharmaceutical companies through the little known Patient Assistant Program
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 7, 2007 --
Originally known for their discount dental membership, Ameriplan USA has also offered a discount discount prescription plan benefit for many years as well. As of August 2007, Ameriplan rolls out a new program designed to help patients access their prescriptions
even easier at an even lower cost.
The new Ameriplan Prescription Advocacy Program or (APAP) is part of the companies recent product expansion which uses Patient Assistance Programs or (P.A.P.s) offered by prescription drug companies. The fairly recent addition of a full blown medical benefit was a great addition. Most recently though, Ameriplan has taken advantage of the obscure process whereby a person can apply directly to the manufactures of pharmaceutical drugs in order to receive their prescription for free.
Most people are unaware that this application process even exist. Now that Ameriplan has added prescription advocacy, what they will do is charge a membership fee and they will do the footwork of helping patients, who qualify, get the prescriptions that they take regularly for free. This will surely be a huge relief for thousand of Ameriplan members who are paying full price or high prices for their prescriptions as of yet.
Below are the income qualifications to use the new prescription discount program taken from an Ameriplan Prescription Advocacy Program web page.
