BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - Book Divas (www.bookdivas.com), the leading online book club for young adults, welcomes Melissa Marr, author of the YA novel Wicked Lovely to the site for a week long virtual author visit that will begin August 13 and end August 20. This will be Marr's first author visit to the online community. Book Diva members will be able to interact directly with the author and ask questions on the featured novel, which was released by Harper Teen (an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers) in June 2007.

Author Visits are the signature feature of Book Divas, which has been online since 2002. The community re-launched in 2007 and is growing at a rate of over 30% each month. HarperCollins has signed on for additional Author Visits for 2007. Ten percent of the proceeds from all author visits go towards Book Divas' own 'Writing Star' scholarship fund, which was created by Book Divas CEO, Leah Messina. The scholarship fund will assist in sending one high school senior with the intent in majoring in Writing or English to college in the fall of 2008.

Wicked Lovely is a modern day fairy tale novel filled with mortal love and ancient rules. It offers a refreshing and spellbinding plot that is sure to keep readers intrigued.
