The sunflower project started with a meeting consisting of 12 members of the family ranging in age from 21 to 75. The team spent countless hours strategizing on the concept of designing an online resource tool encompassing all information pertaining to the sunflower. Then the real work began when each family member shared in researching various topics and tasks, all pertaining to the sunflower or online business. "There truly is nothing like this site on the worldwide web. Our passionate sunflower journey is just beginning, so there is no telling what this creative group of family members will come up with next," said Dr. Christopher J. Kline.

In addition to the online resource which is designed to bring sunflower lovers together from around the world, the family hosts a booth at local Farmer's Markets offering sunflower products and gardening information.
