MySpace threatens to sue CAPTCHA Killer
MySpace threatens to sue CAPTCHA Killer
New website captchakiller.com is facing legal threats from social networking behemoth MySpace
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 13, 2007 --
MySpace uses CAPTCHA -- a difficult to read image designed to stop robots and lower SPAM. However their CAPTCHA system does not provide support for the blind. Consequently, the blind can not fully utilize the MySpace system. CAPTCHA Killer has created a service that can help the blind access all parts of MySpace. The service is found online at www.captchakiller.com. MySpace has called and emailed CAPTCHA Killer and threatens to sue, saying bypassing the CAPTCHA system is against their terms of service. CAPTCHA Killer now actively blocks people from using the service with MySpace. And the blind still don't have a solution!
