United Kingdom of Great Britain & N. Ireland (Press Release) August 15, 2007 --
The Magic wheel is a weird, yet wonderful urban method of transport, which has been predicted to be the 'Next Big Craze' and its all down to the hard work of Northamptonshire businessman Kevin Johnston.
The Magic Wheel is an innovative new design. A sleek, sexy, totally unique push scooter which consists of a large racing wheel with a moulded plastic cover and a footplate either side to stand on. It also has a small directional wheel at the rear that allows the user to change direction in an instant.
Kevin, 28, had his own business working as a plasterer but wanted to do something different so spent his spare time searching the web for new inventions. As soon as he saw the Magic Wheel he knew this was what he was looking for and subsequently set about acquiring exclusive distribution rights for the product. With all that in place Kevin took the giant leap of leaving his job and financial security to set up Parker and Johnston Ltd a brand new import company based in Corby, Kevin said "As soon as I saw the Magic Wheel I knew it had huge potential and was going to be very popular with the youth market, what I didn't expect is how well it would also take off with people of all ages, I have recently sold Magic Wheels to men in their forties and fifties who love them! Leaving plastering is a risk but I am confident that the Magic Wheel will be a success."
The Magic Wheel has been featured by the BBC and Kevin is currently in talks to feature the Magic Wheel on three more prime time television shows! As a result of the coverage, his website www.magicwheel.co.uk has received nearly a hundered thousand hits and resulted in Kevin selling out of his first order and had pre-orders piling up for the next lot!
The Magic Wheel will be featured in the LondonEdge/Central Trade Show, held at London's Olympia 2 Conference centre on 2nd - 4th sept 07, where buyers can come and witness for themselves the unique quality of this design.
