In a press release dated: August 12, 2007 nano-tech-discount-electronics.com revealed "Hong Kong sellers flood ebay and other online sales venues with 8GB faked memory iPod 2nd gen copy". In another recent search on ebay by nano-tech-discount-electronics.com for 8GB MP3 player, it was found that all listings for auctions that were running, were in fact listed in accordance with ebay policy. All the listing by offending sellers had been removed.
This is a good sign for ebay sellers that play by the rules, but is not likely to last indefinitely. "They are like carp, there will be more where they came from.
