Carpentersville, Illinois – The Fox Valley Citizens for Legal Immigration will host a Pig Roast / Picnic on Saturday, August 18th, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Also present will be several prominent speakers, including Illinois Senator Chris Lauzen, Cook County Board Member John Fahy, Former Gubernatorial candidate Jim Oberweis, and others.
Come and meet your neighbors! There will be plenty of fun, food, music and prizes. The menu will include: Roasted pork, Roasted Corn-on-the-Cob, Summer Salads, Hot dogs for the kids, Beverages and Desserts.
This all-you-can-eat event will be hosted outdoors at 136 Skyline Drive, Carpentersville (Lake Marian), Illinois (near the Lake Marian Citgo gas station).
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for kids (under 5 free), and are available in advance or at the gate. Plenty of free parking is available.
