Reminiscent of "The Golden Girls" TV sit-com in the 70's, these girls share a common desire to improve their lot in life. The "matriarch" is actually one of the other girl's mother, just like in "The Golden Girls". The remaining two members of the group are roommates.

Shari shares the daily experiences of raising and breaking/training a couple of horses, maintaining a small flock of rare black Merino/Suffolk cross sheep, starting a small flock of chickens, and life with five dogs and each other.
