SISTER SPOKESMAN WELCOMES AUTHOR AND SPEAKER
BRENE’ PATRICK TO STEAK AND ALE RESTAURANT AUGUST 25, 2007!
Minneapolis – “SISTER SPOKESMAN”, the premier forum for African and African American women to meet and greet one another happens again Saturday, August 25th at Steak And Ale, 2801 Southtown Drive, Bloomington, Minnesota from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
This month’s guest is author, motivational speaker and creator of the “Learning To Love A Black Man” conference series, Ms. Brene’ E. Patrick. This Sister Spokesman’s Theme is “WHY DO WOMEN TOLERATE OTHER’S SHORTCOMINGS/INADEQUACIES?” Ms. Patrick has crafted her message around this topic.
“Sister Spokesman” was designed to bring together African and African American women together to converse, share and network with each other in a forum comfortable for all. Says founder of “Sister Spokesman” and publisher of the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder newspaper, Tracey L. Williams, “I just wanted a place where my sisters could get together and know that there are more than a few of us out there. We are spread all over the Twin Cities seven-county area and we just don’t know where each other are. “Sister Spokesman” was created to bring us together!”
“Sister Spokesman” is a monthly event that was designed to be an outreach program of The Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder newspaper as a service to and for African and African-American women of all socio-economic levels.
Tracey L. Williams invites all “sistahs” out to Steak And Ale Restaurant, 2801 Southtown Drive, Bloomington, Minnesota for an afternoon of fun, food, music, networking and prizes…all designed for you!
