The Good Life News and Black Dog Promotions announced that they will be sponsoring a charity poetry contest titled, “A Poem for Earth” on Thursday, September 20th beginning at 7pm at the Big Fish Pub

Event hosted by Big Fish Pub in Tempe

August 21, 2007 – The Good Life News and Black Dog Promotions announced that they will be sponsoring a charity poetry contest titled, “A Poem for Earth” on Thursday, September 20th beginning at 7pm at the Big Fish Pub in Tempe.
Tickets for the event are available at a pre-sale price of $12 and can be purchased at www.arizonaseats.com. There is limited seating, so tickets will be sold on a first come basis. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15.00.
The event will support many of Arizona's finest conservation and environmental groups with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Environmental Fund for Arizona. To see a complete list or to get involved in the environment, please visit: www.efaz.org
In addition to great poetry about the environment there will also be entertainment from Wonderful Tonight, a Tribute to Eric Clapton band. Local poet and the Good Life News Voice of Verse TM, Mike Papaianni (www.designerpoetry.com) will frame the winning poem and there will be additional prizes for the participants. There will be other guest Creative people at the event.
