Linda’s Gourmet Cookies is Supporting “A Night at the Museum” a Benefit for Gordon Parks School

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 22, 2007 -- Kansas City, MO August 27, 2007. Linda’s Gourmet Cookies announced they would be supporting the Gordon Parks Elementary School’s second annual benefit “A Night at the Museum”.

“A Night at the Museum” will take place on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 6:30 pm, and will be held at the WWI Museum and Liberty Memorial 100 W 26th Kansas City, MO. Activities will feature a tour of the museum with young docents from Gordon Parks Elementary School, special performances after dark - weather permitting, and dinner. Proceeds from the benefit will help support the schools academic programs.

Gordon Parks Elementary School provides an academically enriched curriculum featuring first-hand experiences, active learning, art, music and physical education for children living in the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri. This K – 5 school helps children, who would otherwise be at risk, to develop their potential in a safe, loving and challenging environment.
